European Release Date for Minish Cap!
Posted by Attrox | 12:08 AM CDT
According to PlanetGamecube.com, Nintendo has set a release date in Europe for The Minish Cap! The game is set to be in stores on November 12th of 2004. The estimated price for the game is 40 euros. Interestingly enough, the game will be released in Europe before the the United States, which isn't the traditional order for game releases from Japan. It looks like Zelda gamers in the U.S. will have to import an English version from Europe! For those Americans who are willing to wait for the game, the North American release date is still set for January 10th, of 2005. That's it for today, on your way out check out our forums, which have many added features!

Minish Cap Release Date Set, Layout Explenation
Posted by Attrox | 7:08 PM CDT
Nintendo has set a release date for the upcoming GameBoy Advance Zelda title, The Minish Cap! The game will be released in January 10th, 2005. Now, about the layout. Yes, I actually have been working on it, I just havn't gotten it done as quickly as planned. (Wow, what a surprise, eh?) It is still under works, and I still plan on putting it up. I have no idea when it will be finished, though. I may put the layout on delay for a week or so, however, to get up coverage on the new GameCube Zelda and the Minish Cap. If anybody would like to check out a preview of it, stop by and register at our forums where I have posted a screenshot!
We are still looking for staff members. So far, most of the applications have had no samples of previous work or a sample of your writing. If you don't include either, you will not get a reply! Please include sample work. Applications can still be emailed to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Now Hiring, New Layout, and More!
Posted by Attrox | 2:02 AM CDT
Hello all! First off, a happy fourth of July goes out to all of the Americans out there. And now, I'll get to business. The Great Deku Tree is now hiring, we are looking for a content writer, who would help myself and Oni-Link do coverage on games in the Zelda series. We are also in need of an article writer, somebody who could give us a Zelda-related article a few times each month for us to feature on the site. If you are interested, please send me an email at email@example.com. Include your name, previous works/experience, and be ready to submit a sample piece of writing.
Over the past week or so, I have also had a new design in the works. I'm about half way finished right now, and will most likely be done with the design sometime this week. With the new design, we will also have some updated game coverage, on the games which were featured at E3, along with Four Swords Adventures. I hope to have everything up and ready to go sometime late this month. That's about it, just thought I'd give you guys an update on the state of the site. Feel free to drop by and post at our forums on your way out.

Four Swords Adventures Shipped!
Posted by Attrox | 2:40 PM CDT
The multiplayer Legend of Zelda game, Four Swords Adventures, was shipped today in North America. The game is the second Zelda title released on the GameCube so far, and is a strictly multiplayer game -- much different then The Wind Waker. I'm sure those of you who follow Zelda news know all about it, so I'll stop there. There are a lot of mixed feelings on this game, and many wonder weather it is worth the $50 they have to pay. I'll be picking up my copy later this afternoon, and I'll be sure to post my review sometime this week! For tomorrow, I'll be updating the Four Swords Adventures section, along with adding two new articles. Be sure to check for that, in the mean time stop by our forums!

New Minish Cap Information & Multimedia!
Posted by Attrox | 7:07 PM CDT
Today at the E3 Expo we got to see The Minish Cat in action for the first time. New information on the game, along with new multimedia, has been released. In the game, Link befriends a bird-like hat, which is called the Minish Cap. The cap is green, just like the one Link usually wears, but it has advice or special powers and certain times in the game. One of the special powers is the shrinking ability, where Link is shrunk down to mouse size, giving him an advantage when his surroundings are larger. Flagship is developing the game with Nintendo, and has added some new features we havn't seen before. At the show today, we only got to see a lot of dungeons, but much information and media was released. You can check out gameplay footage and screenshots by clicking here.

Legend Of Zelda / The Minish Cap Confirmed!
Posted by Attrox | 9:35 PM CDT
Today at the E3 Preshow, in Los Angeles, California, two new zelda games were featured. As of now, the GameCube game is titled "Legend of Zelda", and once you see the multimedia for the game you will get deja vu -- we saw a game of similar style at Spaceworld of 2000. Realistic graphics, and a grown up Link. Zelda fans seem to be very pumped up for this game, and with good reason. A release date has not been set yet, nor has any information at the game -- but we can expect more to be released in the coming days at E3. You can view the screenshots/videos for the game by clicking here.
The second game we saw today is a GameBoy Advance game titled "The Minish Cap". As of now, there hasn't been much information released -- but again, it is only day one of E3, and we can expect more to come out as the convention progresses. I don't have any multimedia worht posting at the moment, but you can expect some for this game in tomorrows update.
And as you may have noticed, this has been the first update on the site in quite some time. I really had lost passion for the site, and Zelda, for awhile, but seeing these new games has motivated me to give it my all again. We have a new design in the works, along with some content revamps you can expect to see too. I just thought I'd let you guys know that we're back, and the dryspell is over.

Classic NES Series Coming To America!
Posted by Oni-Link | 9:12 PM CDT
For those who have been wondering, the Classic NES Series that is being emulated onto the Gameboy Advance is officially coming to the United States. After much speculation of whether or not it was going to be released to those outside of Japan, it finally is. Each game is going to cost $19.99. Which is about 10-15 dollars less than brand new released games. Nintendo is also releasing a new Gameboy Advance style (yes, another one) that looks identical the old NES controller. An image of this picture can be view here. Some may be wondering what this has to do with Zelda, well, they are re-releasing the first ever Legend of Zelda game for the Gameboy Advance. The games and the new Gameboy Advance SP style will be released on June 7th. Also, look forward to more information on the tentatively titled The Wind Waker 2 when E3 comes around.
